The Arizona Chapter of MDA supports 2,800 local families that are affected by neuromuscular disease and for this we support them! John Hall & Associates has been hosting a fundraiser for MDA for over 25 years. This year is no different. You are about to read that we raise money by organizing a charity sporting event, but the non-athletic should not be deterred. We have ways to win prizes without lifting an arm – all you need to do is be able to type on the keyboard to participate this year.
In fact, there are three ways to participate. You can buy a raffle ticket opportunity drawing ticket with a chance to win some amazing prizes, you can join us for a day of golf, or you can simply sponsor the tournament. Since I like to talk about the 6 prizes for the 6 winners of the opportunity drawing, let’s start with them…

You do not have to be present to win any of the prizes for this years’ Opportunity Drawing. A donation of $20 gets you a chance to win or a donation of $100 will get you six chances to win. Go to the golf page to buy your tickets.
Up next are the sponsorship levels. They start with a hole sponsorship ($400 donation) and go all the way up to (I triple dog dare you) the Platinum PLUS Sponsor. You can read about all the sponsorship levels and required donations here. We are still looking for the golf ball sponsor. There can only be one. Your logo on golf balls given to the entire field – pretty good exposure to the local real estate industry.
Last but certainly not least is the core of any successful sporting event – the athletes. Since the official name of our charity event is – The 2009 John Hall & Associates Golf Classic for MDA – we’re looking for golfers. It’s a 4 person scramble, which means everyone hits a tee shot and then the entire foursome plays from the best ball – repeat until the ball is in the hole. Since I am playing in this charity golf tournament, and there are prizes for winning, if you are good at golfing – DON’T SIGN UP. For everyone else, put a foursome together and come on out for an awesome day at Eagle Mountain Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ. The donation to play is $125.
