Digital Ink: e-Signatures by AAR and Ziplogix
Digital Ink from Ziplogix is coming to a zipform6 account near you! As AAR CEO Tom Farley announced on the AAR blog, you and I are going to be the recipients of this new member benefit from the Arizona Association of REALTORS®. Digital Ink is an electronic signature tool that accompanies zipforms. Around the middle of February, you’ll be able to send your clients contracts from zipform that allow them to add a legally binding digital signature.

I like this whitepaper that talks about the SIGNiX technology that powers these digital signatures for Ziplogix. It’s helpful to read how/why their “digital signatures” are more secure than electronic signatures. It says the SIGNiX technology locks down the pdf so it can’t be altered after signing – unlike electronic signatures. (?) I’ll call them whatever they want me to if more banks start to accept them!

Square JH Logos
There really isn’t a good way to make the official John Hall & Associates logo a small square. I’ve tried. Several times. It has been somewhat of a frustration since more and more web sites are being formatted for square profile pictures. That’s why I decided to do some chopping.
This new JH logo is what made the cut. We’ve been using it here and there. Some of you have even requested a version of it to use in your own marketing efforts. Well today this little variation makes the big leagues! It’s been added to the logo section of our company intranet.
For the record, it is not a replacement of the official John Hall & Associates logo. It is an alternative version that may work better in certain situations.
I have one word of caution.
Keep in mind A.R.S. § 32-2107:
E. A salesperson or broker shall ensure that all advertising identifies in a clear and prominent manner the employing broker’s legal name or the dba name contained on the employing broker’s license certificate.
The official John Hall & Associates logo has the broker’s legal name included in it. These square JH logos DO NOT. If you are going to use this logo, be sure to accompany it with the full name of our brokerage.

Adding the ADRE Squeaky Clean Image To Your Site
Since this article was published on the AAR blog a couple weeks ago, I’ve been talking to our agents about adding this badge to their web sites. The easiest way I know how to do that is to copy and paste the code into your Source/HTML/Code editor.
Once you’ve copied the code into your source editor, be sure to replace the words YOUR PROFILE URL with the actual link to your profile – leave the quotation marks. Search for your ADRE profile here.

Halliday Party Wrap Up
It came. It ROCKED. It went.
This year’s company wide Holiday party was a blast. So glad to see 300 agents and sponsors come together to have a rocking good time. It was all made possible by the generous support of our sponsors and volunteers.
From the sale of raffle tickets we were able to raise $1,900 at the event which pushed us over the top of our $5,000 goal for House of Refuge East. As of this morning the total raised this season was $6,038!! That’s 100 meals and over a thousand dollars worth of gift cards for the families to be used throughout the year. Awesome job guys and gals!! Thank you for helping support those families who are in need this Holiday season.

Currently Testing Goomzee
ARMLS is on the brink of releasing Goomzee to the masses! The ARMLS Technology Committee (which I’m excited to be back on after a year hiatus) is currently testing it’s mobile MLS search capabilities. Initial thought: Oooohhhhh, niiiiiiicccccceeeeee. (<-- actual initial thought)
I had a chance to talk to a Goomzee sales representative at the NAR convention in New Orleans this November. Here's a short video of him answering the question, What is Goomzee?
When is goomzee going live for ARMLS?
Since testers started signing in this week, I think it may depend on how that goes. On Friday, Dawn McKinley twitterly asked ARMLS, “@ARMLS I’m curious… has Goomzee launched yet?” To which they responded, “Check ARMLS.com on Monday around 10am for details.”
Based on the feedback on the John Hall & Associates facebook page, REALTORS® are looking forward to a better mobile solution for ARMLS searching.

I’m all about different people’s perspectives when it comes to advice on becoming a successful real estate agent. I stumbled across this outsider’s perspective that I think has some worthwhile points. Can I really call a REALTOR® trainer an outsider? Yes.
By REALTOR® trainer I mean he’s a personal trainer that has worked with REALTORS®. His title “World’s Top REALTOR® Fitness Expert” makes me smile, but don’t worry he says a lot more than “be sure to eat right and exercise!”
