Flexmls Auto-Emails and Portals (Schedule Update)

Thank you to all who voted for the in-house ARMLS training in May. It was a good race, but Flexmls Auto-Emails and Portals won!

The last couple of months we’ve been lucky enough to have ARMLS trainers come to our real estate offices. In March we started the in-house ARMLS training series with flexmls tips and tricks, then we learned about the Cromford Report in April. Even though ARMLS and I initially picked RPR for May’s classes, we realized letting you decide the topic was a much better idea. Turns out it was, based on the survey we emailed earlier this week you’d rather learn about flexmls auto-emails and portals than RPR.  Here’s the schedule of classes:

We have updated the intranet calendar and will include the new topic in our weekly schedule emails. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP to psexton@johnhall.com and indicate which date you’ll be attending.

Constantly – All prospects, buyers AND sellers are on portals with auto-emails. One of my favorite features of flex.

Portals with the auto-emails is THE BEST single thing about Flex, if I had to choose. :) If there are people that don’t use it… I’ll be surprised if they are more than barely making a living in real estate.

I was talking to an agent out of our Scottsdale office whose goal it is to set up portals for everyone he comes into contact with; sign calls, open houses, internet leads, etc. Based on the numbers he was throwing out, it sounds like it’s an effective strategy.

To be able to convince others, I did an initial test myself with over 300 leads. We created a custom campaign with a few emails that we use for email notifications and initial portal setup confirmation. We saw a 78% engagement rate between portal usage and new listings email openings.

Wow, thanks Max! For the record, I’m rounding that number to 80% when I tell other agents about this. ;) I wonder if ARMLS or flexmls have engagement stats for new auto-email campaigns and portals.

Phil, they have the metrics in place i.g. how many times visited the portal, how many emails opened etc., but it’s not summarized to give you a full picture of engagement. I had to do it manually.

Phil, correction – 75% engagement in my test. I just looked up my records…it’s been awhile :)

ALWAYS! I’d need an assistant to send it all out if I did not use it!
