The John Hall & Associates agent contest to Win an iPad went down as a complete success! I had a blast checking out all the entries and like Dru Bloomfield said, “I was checking the intranet as much as facebook and twitter.” One of the primary goals of the contest was to get agents more comfortable with the discussion section on our intranet; mission accomplished!
We had 28 REALTORS® submit a total of 58 entries that included photos of their John Hall & Associates real estate signs. Varieties of themes including real deal marketing images, professional listings, local sceneries, retro and comical designs gave the judges some real tough decisions to make.
The entire corporate office was blown away by the quality of the entries we received. The creativity and originality was AWESOME. Even the photoshop skills that came out to play were impressive. The picture I thought was for sure going to win the whole thing didn’t even place in the top ten; the votes were spread across the board.
As much as I would love to share all the positive comments and feedback received from the judges, I know you’re here for one reason; and like all contests, in the end only one can receive the top prize.
Thank you all for coming together and supporting our contest. I am proud to be apart of this John Hall & Associates community.

Congratulations to Allen and Beth Rebenstorf for taking their post and sign underwater. Very clever marketing piece in today’s real estate environment!
Special thanks to all six judges (one of which asked to remain anonymous):
Wendy Mueller with Old Republic Home Protection
Cynthia Lujan with Old Republic Title
Bryan Jones with Clear Title
Diane Scherer with the Phoenix Association of REALTORS®
Dana Vivier with Vivier Wines
**CLASS IS FULL**
Bryan Jones with the Talon Group has organized a class on the government foreclosure alternative program HAFA to be held July 21st at the PV Office from 1-4pm. (Class Flyer)
For those of you that have been to the Kiva room at the PV office, you know space is limited. Please be sure to let bryanjones@talongroup.biz know you’re coming!
Bryan Jones (with the Talon Group) emails a list of the previous weeks’ expired and cancelled listings to his database to assist with their prospecting. Last weeks’ list had 455 names and phone numbers!
In today’s market there is no shortage of expired listings, but there is a real shortage of agents who know how to turn them into closed transactions. Your listing has to win a beauty contest and then “The Price is Right”. There are only three reasons that a house doesn’t sell: Price, condition and marketing. (ProStart teaches agents how to deal with all three.)
If you would like to be added to the list of agents that recieve the list, let Bryan know.
