Ranking real estate brokers by the amount of business they do is an annual activity for REALTOR® Magazine and the Phoenix Business Journal.  Both of these publications recently printed their annual lists.  We submitted our 2009 numbers to the local Biz Journal, but not to REALTOR® Magazine.  Here’s our ranking according to the Phoenix Biz Journal and we’ll also show you where we would have ended up in REALTOR® Magazine’s Top 100 lists.

Phoenix Business Journal

Since the Biz Journal sells their Book of Lists, I was unable to find their Residential Real Estate Broker list publicly online.  If you have a subscription or bought the book, you’ll find John Hall & Associates ranked 4th based on 2009 sales volume! (John Hall REALTORS® can find more info here.)

REALTOR® Magazine

Even though we didn’t submit the numbers to REALTOR® Magazine for their rankings, based on the published data we’re able to see where we would have ended up. (REALTOR® Magazine’s Top 100 Lists)

• 71st for Transaction Sides
• 88th for Sales Volume

I’m always excited to see that our greater Phoenix real estate agency can compete with the national big dogs and still place in the Top 100 companies nationally for both number of transactions and sales volume.
